Water Sports
Calangute is the perfect spot if you want to indulge in water sports such as parasailing, water skiing and wind surfing. A number of boat operators also offer dolphin & crocodile-spotting trips. They also provide island trips, fishing expedition and river cruises.
Nightlife
Calangute’s nightlife is surprisingly tame and provides a nice break from the regular wild parties. All but a handful of bars wind up by 10.00PM. Restaurants like Souza Lobo and Lloyd's arrange live music for guests.
Eating Joints
Calangute's bars and restaurants are mainly grouped around the entrance to the beach, along the Baga Road. They offer tempting seafood, though many places also serve vegetarian dishes. Some popular eating joints are Souzo Lobo, Kerkar Retreat and Emma's Kitchen. Eclectic foods are also available at Reverie, After Eight and Utopia.
