This place was suggested by a travel agent, so we decided to drive down to Jaipur. I have to hand it to people with foresight. This concept of tents is lovely, u have ur own private space, just bang next to amer fort, its hard to believe a place like this exists considering how noisy it is on the main road. Its great for those wishing to escape the city and willing to drive down. As soon as we checked in we heard the lion roar (as the Nahargarh rescue centre is driving distance away). ..u could hear the call of peacocks all day, and while we were driving out we finally saw a peahen near one of the rasa boards. It just felt surreal seeing all those tents lining the landscape. The rooms are great. Food is good...All u need to do is to check-in, turn off the cellphone, disconnect the internet and take a dip in the pool. Now thats my idea of camping in style.

We stayed at Rasa Resort, Jaipur for two nights...The resort is off the main road and secluded which we loved after the tours and bustle of activities. We had an excellent experience from the moment we checked in. The front desk ... and the entire staff was very welcoming. We had intended on eating at the resort only one dinner but it was so good we ate there the second night too. Actually we made a special request not on the menu for "street food" of samosas and pokhurri which the chef accommodated. The chef came to our table during dinner to make sure it met our expectations and it far exceeded ours...The rooms were very nice and we enjoyed the outdoor seating area. The pool was great and we also enjoyed walking around in peace and took lots of pictures of peacocks in the mornings. I will look for this property in my future travels.
