    • Take the NH17 (Goa Highway) road till Kolad
    • 1km after the Kolad Market turn left on NH60 on to the Pune highway
    • From here it is 8km to Sutarwadi Village (rafting reporting office)
    • From the base office it is another 8km to the rafting point at the Sajey Village
  • Pune: 100km
    • Take the road to Mulshi Dam and drop down the ghats till the turn off to Sajey Village.

120km south-east of Mumbai, between the banks of the Kundalika River and the Kalasgiri Hills is the quaint little town of Roha. A few kilometres away are the villages of Kolad and Mulshi, popular riverside destinations for adventure sports.

The Kundalika River originates in the Western Ghats and flows into the Arabian Sea not far from its creek at Roha. It is the only river in Maharashtra on which white-water rafting is possible. Rafting is done on the let off of the hydroelectric power stations at Bhira and Ravalje. The rafting experience is a 13km stretch with grade III and grade IV rapids. Along the river there are thick forests, mango groves, watermelon vines and rice fields. But that’s not all – the Kundalika Rafting Camp is also situated on the banks of this river!

The property is a luxury tented campsite and is positioned at the end of the rafting run. They have 20 tents that have attached bathrooms and provide a host of adventure activities such as kayaking, flying fox. Kayaking is the best way to enjoy a river as you paddle along calm waters or ride the rapids. Flying Fox is an exciting activity that involves crossing the breadth of the river, safely harnessed on a pulley attached to a steady zip line.
