We enjoyed our stay at Alila Goa as it was away from the regular hustle and bustle which normal five star properties have...it is short distance drive from the airport, the hotel is situated near green paddy fields which is very relaxing and rejuvenating compared to the beach hotels, the rooms are comfortable, the buffet spreads at breakfast and both meals were varied with a touch of asian cuisine added in, the staff were courteous ... We stayed in the loft room above the swimming pool facing the paddy fields ... I went for a spa treatment and the Spa was a beautiful arrangement with an Asian feel of ambience created with wood and water.. The overall experience was good and we enjoyed the quiet and peace at Alila.
