Designed by a Swiss architect, this grand mansion sits on a raised clearing surrounded by 100 acres of coffee and cardamom plantations, paddy fields and the pepper vines. Its skyline is silhouetted with areca and coconut palms, wild mango, rosewood and a great Burmese mahogany tree. The estate is currently owned by Chengappa, a popular jockey who has raced the courses of Bangalore and Chennai. Hence, all the suites are named after his prize-winning horses.
