Sky diving involves individuals jumping out of an aircraft, usually an airplane, but sometimes a helicopter or even the gondola of a balloon, and activating a parachute to slow the landing down to safe speeds. Skydiving is not just falling - it is the closest to flying that man has been able to do.

Although you reach 120 mph or even 240 mph, you merely feel the pressure of air against your body. Then it is simple matter to use this air pressure to fly the body. There is an astounding silence as you hang beneath a multi-colored nylon wing for the two/three minute flight to the landing area.

Tandem Jump:

In tandem jump, participant is connected via a harness to the instructor. The instructor guides the participant through the whole jump from the exit through free-fall, piloting the canopy and landing. The participant needs only minimal instruction before making a tandem jump. Tandem jump is a very popular training method for first time skydivers. Jump is carried out at 10,000 ft. Few hours of training is required for participant.

Static Jump:

In static jump, participant jumps alone with the parachute, and the parachute is deployed immediately after leaving the plane, regardless of actions taken or not taken by the parachutist. However the parachutist must adopt and maintain a suitable body position throughout deployment to minimize the chances of a parachute malfunction. One instructor is in the aircraft will assist in jumping and other is on the ground and helps in landing by giving instructions through radio contact. Jump is carried out at 4000 ft. Participant undergoes 2 days of training.
