...I would suggest drive from Gurgaon to Jhunjhunu. It is almost a 4 hrs drive, and gives you a neat connectivity. ..My first look “Surajgarh Fort is wonderful and gives you a royal feel. They have awesome rooms…. all of them have different themes.” They host great show in evening (Music, Puppet Show, Bangle Market), with bonfire and snacks. You get a feel of real Rajasthan food. Especially during lunch and dinner. In all it’s the place for two day weekend trip. Just hang on, enjoy the royalty and relax. You will not find lot of places to visit nearby. Camel ride and city walk is the only thing you can do.
